Well, I watched the last episode and I had to say that it’s quite satisfying…at least.
With one episode left, things turn out into a bigger scale as Aoi, Natsume and Yukina realize that Sakurai went AWOL..
Turns out the bastard is in league with Isao and they plan to threaten the Western countries that they will nuke an atomic bomb in Shanghai. Well, it’s Isao’s idea that he wants to do it for peace. This idea is similar to what the US did in the last year of WWII to Japan. In history, after Germany surrendered and Japan as the only Axis power remaining since they refuse to surrender, the Allies had to resort to one option which is dropping an atomic bomb.. Of course, the US dropped two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and this led to Japan’s surrender.
But in this series, the WMD remains incomplete and Isao has to let Shizune show the creation of the atomic bomb to everyone in Puyi’s inauguration. Actually, I don’t know what Shizune is doing in the pillar because it shows that she’s meditating or something. So, about his idea of nuking Shanghai might be an illusion. I don’t know what will be the end result but if we follow history, Isao will fail and will probably be executed by the Empire of Japan itself.
Enough history lesson, now for the some Facebook moments…. Facebook moments…
Meh, all this history talk spoken in Japanese will bore if you don’t understand and that your understanding is 20%-30%.
Anyway, I don’t care. I really want to see how our Fantastic Four (aka Sakurai Kikan) will play on this now that the story is foreshadowing WWII. (Hmm, I thought they will cover the 2nd Sino-Japanese War which also leads to WWII).
Onto the episode 10, Yukina wants to show the vision to Aoi and Kazura. But she hesitates.
From what I’ve read in this blog (http://psgels.blogsome.com/2010/06/0…night-raid-10/), I guess a lot of people are starting to lose their interest and patience on Senkou no Night Raid. I even see that most people are dropping this series just because the subs aren’t released yet for the past 2 weeks and that they didn’t get a chance to see the real story which will start in episode 7.
Things become further complicated when Fujimura’s father, a high ranking official within Third-I, is falsely accused of murdering his superior when he receives further information related to the Christmas Massacre, and the code name “Bloody Monday”.
The terrorist Maya Orihara, who was responsible for the incident in Russia, is now in Tokyo in order to recover the memory stick to stop Third-I from knowing the truth of a terrorist plot in Japan. She goes under cover as a teacher at Fujimaru Takagi’s High School. From there it becomes difficult for Fujimaru to determine who he can trust as he uses his high-level hacking skills to try and save the country and unravel the mystery of Bloody Monday and the cult behind it.
That’s right, Isao let his sister catch a glimpse that an atomic bomb will fall on Japan. I was wondering how does he know about atomic bombs. But I have a theory that when he and his troops went AWOL in Manchuria, he meet some kind of prophet and learn that there will be a world war and a weapons of mass destruction.
