Despite the anticipation of Bill 156 to take effect, apparently the industry is now bringing more awesome anime. And it’s not moe or shonen stuff. It’s something awesome.
A-1 Pictures has another original project entitled, "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai" or Anohana for short. Idk what’s the story yet but the trailer looks interesting. I think it’s about childhood friends or something. This will be shown on April 2011
Another show which is adapted from a novel written by Atsuki Asano is called, No. 6
. The story is set on a dystopian city. Raised as a top-ranking elite since the age of 2, a boy named Shion lives in an exclusive area in No. 6. On the night of his 12th birthday, he rescues a boy who calls himself "Nezumi" ("Rat"). Nezumi ran away from the city’s Special Security Area. From that moment on, Shion’s life is changed forever…
There’s no further info yet but the official website is out. It will be shown on July 2011.
These are fairly good shows shown in the noitamina time slot. In fact, most shows in that time slot were great but underappreciated. I’ve already watched Tatami Galaxy, House of Five Leaves and Kuucgu Buranko. I’m planning to watch the older shows like Shiki and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. And I’m currently watching Eden of the East, Genji Monogatari Sennenki.
Of course, I’m waiting for Ao no Exorcist and Steins;Gate on Spring 2011 too. And also Fate/Zero and Code Geass Gaiden..
